Australia vs New Zealand: Commonwealth Bank Cricket Series 2006-07 in Australia

Australia vs New Zealand First One Day at Hobart

Australia beat New Zealand by 105 runs

Andrew Symonds scored 69 runs on Sunday as Australia beat New Zealand by 105 runs, its second straight win in the tri-series limited-overs tournament.
New Zealand was led by a Shane Bond hat trick and a half-century from Ross Taylor. Bond, 4-61, took three wickets with three consecutive balls in Australia's last over, but Symonds and Cameron White (45 runs from 31 balls) had already added 90 runs off 54 balls to speed Australia to 289-8 from its 50 overs. New Zealand was bowled out for 184 in reply after the dismissal of Taylor (84 from 82 balls) sparked a collapse that saw the Kiwis lose their last seven wickets for just 23 runs.
