Chasing 157, Lara’s men faltered, with top order batsmen Dheeraj Jadhav (30) and former South African allrounder Johan van der Wath (34) managed to score almost a run a ball. Both fell to Kumaran. Mumbai Champs, were bundled out for 119 in 18.5 overs. With the asking rate climbing over 12 runs an over, the target never appeared easy even for Lara, who managed scoring four only.
