The Board of Control for Cricket in India confirmed the tour to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) recently, said chief executive officer Mahmudur Rahman. India, who played the first Test against newcomers Bangladesh in 2000, will start the tour by playing three one-dayers, with two Tests to follow. The two sides would finalise the dates of Test matches very soon, he added. Bangladesh have played two home series against India, but have yet to tour India for a Test series.
